Temple Grafton Cricket Club are based in the unique and picturesque setting of Grafton Court in the village of Temple Grafton near to both Alcester and Stratford upon Avon. They provide a warm and friendly environment for players, spectators and opponents alike. After playing friendly cricket for over a century, the TGCC committee decided to enter the Cotswold Hills League in 2002. Success soon followed and four promotions in five years saw the club plying their trade in Division 2 where they stayed for 3 seasons until relegation to division 3 in 2010 where they remain. Sunday and midweek friendly games are played against a host of sides from all parts of Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire with any potential new fixtures welcomed (see below). Tours are taken regularly to Menorca with the occasional tour to various locations in the UK. Should you be interested in becoming part of Temple Grafton Cricket Club, please get in touch with any of the committee members. 2011 Membership Letter & Form Grafton Averages and Stats 2011

The end of the 2010 season saw a landmark occasion for Temple Grafton as the old changing facilities were demolished and replaced by a brand new purpose built facility (pictures)
For the last 6 years we've been actively raising funds for the project and - thanks also to a grant from Stratford District Council - the structure is now in place. HOWEVER...it's a blank canvas and there is still plenty more to do to make it complete. In fact, the interior fitting is a 3 year £12,000 project so the fund raising begins once again in earnest. So if you can donate, provide any building supplies, labour etc it would be gratefully recieved. Keep an eye on the site for updates and inevitable pleas for help! |

With over 125 years of history Grafton has always been known as a welcome and sociable place to watch and play cricket in Warwickshire. There are other cricket clubs nearby (for example there is a cricket club in Stratford upon Avon, a cricket club in Exhall, a cricket club in Bidford on Avon, a cricket club in Great Alne, a cricket club in Welford on Avon, cricket club in Alcester) but we think we offer something more than simply playing cricket at Temple Grafton. If you've recently moved to the area perhaps to Ardens Grafton, Great Alne, Haselor, Welford, Exhall, Binton, Luddington, Wilmcote, Aston Cantlow, Broom, Wixford, Bidford on Avon and are after a cricket club to play at or support then please get in touch. We're positive you'll be impressed.
